Position: Technical Product Manager – Battery Systems

Position Overview: The Technical Product Manager works as the bridge between Business Development and Engineering. They are responsible for managing the overall lifecycle of the products. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Supply Chain, Production, and Service, this role translates customer and business requirements into product deliverables, coordinates new product development and engineering changes, and drives continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with Product management and communication skills to articulate complex business needs into technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Feature and Requirements Ownership: Develop and maintain Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), support product roadmaps, coordinate new product development, develop product cost estimates, track project milestones, and launch readiness.
- Engineering Change Coordination: Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), facilitate cross-functional reviews and approvals, and support the implementation of design changes and product updates.
- OEM and Customer Coordination: Work directly with OEM customers to coordinate technical requirements, customer requests, product updates, model feasibility, and recent product launches.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of the overall performance, reliability, and capabilities of new and deployed products throughout the product lifecycle. Monitor product health, prioritize product issues, and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives with Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Service, and Supply Chain. Support design standardization, manufacturability, and supply chain optimization.
- Product Documentation: Create and maintain product catalogs, datasheets, warranty documentation, owner's manuals, repair manuals,



and service documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering specifications, product requirements, and complex product systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and driving deliverables to completion.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in technical product management, business analysis, technical sales support, or related technical roles.
- Experience with battery systems, industrial equipment, or electromechanical products would be an asset.
- Familiarity with engineering change management, manufacturing processes, and OEM product development and launch programs.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
