We are seeking an experienced Wheel Loader Operator to join our commercial snow removal team for the winter season. You will be responsible for clearing large commercial parking lots, pushing snow piles, and loading snow hauling trucks safely and efficiently during winter weather events.
For high-performing operators, year-round employment opportunities are available as we transition into landscaping and civil operations during the spring and summer.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate wheel loaders equipped with snow pushers, large buckets, or plows on commercial properties.
- Manage snow stockpiling, lot clearing, and loading haul trucks during major snowfall events.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety inspections.
- Work closely with site foremen to ensure properties meet safety standards.
- Uphold strict safety procedures and safe work practices in winter conditions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Wheel Loader Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience operating front wheel loaders.
- Winter Experience:
Previous commercial snow clearing or winter equipment operation is a solid asset.
- Transportation & License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation to reach job sites/shop on short notice during winter storms.
- Availability: Flexible and on-call availability for weather-dependent shifts (including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Gear: Required Personal Protective Equipment, including CSA-approved steel-toed boots.
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
