Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in a CLBC Residential Home. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need through empathetic caregiving and support.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred.




- Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients.
- A caring attitude and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Certification in caregiving or related training is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $27.43-$30.22 per hour
