Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods through strong time management skills
- Assist in restocking supplies and organizing the workspace for smooth operation during shifts




- Provide friendly customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus

Pay: $15.00-$20.17 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
