Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide client-centered assessment, treatment planning, and intervention to support individuals in achieving greater independence in daily activities at Burke Village Medical Consulting Clinic Inc. This full-time, on-site role in Vancouver, BC involves conducting functional assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in collaboration with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Daily tasks include documenting clinical findings, monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans, and educating clients and caregivers on strategies, equipment, and modifications that enhance safety and participation. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in case conferences,



contribute to program development, and ensure that all services comply with skilled standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for a range of physical and cognitive conditions.
- Candidates should possess relevant Medicine-related knowledge to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues, including clear documentation and client education.
- Candidates should possess Pediatrics-related experience or aptitude to support children and youth with developmental, physical, or sensory challenges when required.
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and eligibility for licensure or registration with the appropriate regulatory body in British Columbia.
- Experience in clinical or community-based practice settings, with a focus on functional outcomes and client-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage caseloads effectively, and prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment.
