SixSide Logistics Inc. is a Canadian logistics and distribution company providing warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and third-party logistics (3PL) services.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate to support operations at our Gelda Foods facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material handling.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while coordinating with the broader operations team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily warehouse activities, including receiving, unloading, picking, packing, shipping, and processing returns.
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other authorized material-handling equipment.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, packing slips, and bills of lading.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, product damage, and shipment issues.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal teams and transportation providers.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety procedures.
- Follow established standard operating procedures and support improvements in warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or shipping and receiving.




- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated forklift operating experience are required.
- Hands-on experience with picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory handling.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse organization.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse inventory systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding warehouse duties.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) workplace.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or RF scanners.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliations.
- Experience coordinating freight or transportation activities.

Training Requirements

The selected candidate will complete two weeks of initial hands-on training at our Brampton facility, located at 2600 North Park Drive, before transitioning to the designated Mississauga work location.
