Green Side Lawn & Snow Inc. is hiring 2–3 reliable individuals to join our snow removal crew for the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season.

This position primarily involves shoveling snow from residential and commercial properties throughout Lethbridge and Coaldale.

We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy physical work, can work independently, and are available on short notice when snowfall occurs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to earn additional income during the winter months.

Schedule & Hours

- Seasonal employment from approximately November through March.
- On-call shifts depending on snowfall.
- Typically 2–4 hours of work per snowfall event.
- Approximately 30 snowfall events anticipated throughout the season (not guaranteed).
- Early-morning availability is essential. Snow removal shifts may begin as early as 4:00 a.m., depending on weather conditions and customer requirements.
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
- Hours are weather-dependent and are not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

- Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, driveways, and entrances.
- Use snowblowers and other snow removal equipment when required.




- Follow assigned snow removal routes efficiently.
- Ensure properties are cleared thoroughly and safely.
- Work independently or alongside other crew members.
- Communicate with management regarding completed work and any issues.
- Maintain equipment and follow secure working practices.

Qualifications

- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically capable of repetitive snow shoveling and working outdoors in cold weather.
- Available for early-morning shifts, including weekends when necessary.
- Able to respond to snowfall events on relatively short notice.
- Comfortable working independently and following assigned routes.
- Valid driver's licence preferred.
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

- Starting at $25.00 per hour.
- Up to $500 end-of-season bonus based on reliability, attendance, and work performance.
- All snow removal equipment provided.
- Paid training.
- Opportunity to return for future winter and summer seasons (year round opportunity).

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 14.0 per week
