Duties

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients under supervision
- Support the kitchen staff with basic meal assembly and food handling tasks to facilitate smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold a hygienic kitchen environment
- Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils to ensure efficient service operations
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation,



and equipment use to promote a safe working environment

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen areas
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support fellow staff members
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, or general kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $17.90-$18.00 per hour
