Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of food items following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties with precision, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with food presentation, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction




- Support kitchen staff by performing basic food preparation tasks and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications

- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of diverse backgrounds
- Experience with cashiering, including operating POS systems such as Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a quick-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
