This in house position is primarily responsible for various aspects of order entry and shipment of Erie Flooring Products including involvement with production planning, forecasting, coordinating, and arranging for transportation.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Daily input of Customer orders into order entry system
- Liaisons with customer base to ensure accurate customer specifications are on file.
- Inside sales to Erie Flooring customer base for unfinished flooring.
- Coordinate the delivery schedule of products to our customer.
- Coordinate scheduled pickups from suppliers/manufacturers, taking cost/frequency/customer requirements into consideration.
- Coordinate with transportation vendors for load planning and delivery requirements.
- Manage both inbound and outbound freight costs and develop and implement freight cost reduction initiatives.
- Prepare Bills of Lading and other shipping documents for products.
- File freight claims when necessary.

Qualifications:





- Similar work experience related to the described specific functions above.
- Detailed understanding of custom laws, requirements and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Very organized and must pay special attention to detail.
- Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks.
- Service oriented, resourceful and self-motivated.
