The Career Foundation is facilitating recruitment for this position on behalf of an employment partner. The employer partner provides the job information and is responsible for its accuracy, any subsequent changes, compensation, employment terms and conditions, and all final hiring decisions.

Our employment partner is a Canadian grocery retailer specializing in South Asian, Middle Eastern, and international food products, including halal meat, fresh produce, groceries, and specialty items.

The company serves diverse communities across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with an emphasis on culturally diverse products and halal food offerings.

Job Duties

· Ensure all items are packaged correctly and efficiently

· Monitor workflow to meet deadlines and daily targets

· Inspect packaged products for defects or errors

· Report any inconsistencies or quality issues

· Track usage of packaging materials (e.g., boxes, tapes, labels)

· Notify management of low stock or reorder needs

· Help maintain accurate records of inventory levels

· Enforce workplace safety rules and hygiene standards

· Ensure equipment is used properly and safely

· Communicate any delays, material shortages, or urgent issues

· Maintain daily reports/logs on packaging activity and productivity

· Periodic cleaning and arranging of warehouse.

· Assists with other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

- Able to work in cold areas.
- Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.





These associates perform their duties primarily at the cases and in the cooler/cold storages. They are exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work involves walking; lifting, moving, carrying, and shelving product; and frequently interacting with fellow associates, truck drivers, and vendors.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 23 kg or 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for eight hours.
- Needs to possess steel-toed safety boots and work in a safe manner in accordance with company policies.
