About the Role:

The Shipping/Receiving/Material Logistics (SRL) position owns material control in the Prefabrication Shop, from receiving through to shipping. The SRL ensures the right material is in the right location for the right project, verified and ready when required, and completes defined quality checks on incoming material and finished prefabrication packages. This role works closely with the Fab Shop Coordinator, Fab Shop Manager, and VDC department.

Responsibilities:

- Receive and offload deliveries and verify them against POs and packing slips.
- Identify shortages or damaged material immediately and follow up with suppliers.
- Tag material by project/package and route it to the correct location.
- Handle all shop inventory and VMI, keeping pipe and equipment stock updated in the system.
- Take care of Fab Shop items in the yard,



including carts, inventory, and items waiting to ship.
- Bring all materials to each workstation so they are ready to launch for the next job.
- Perform plumbing station tear down.
- Perform incoming and final quality checks using a standardized QC checklist.
- Prepare finished prefab packages for safe shipping, complete and clearly identified.
- Schedule deliveries and pickups and coordinate with the truck driver for site deliveries.
- Prepare, tag, and segregate returns; coordinate returns with suppliers.
- Communicate material status and collaborate with the Fab Shop as well as the Construction, Service, and Special Mechanical Projects (SMP) teams.
- Provide insight to improve prefabrication and delivery, supporting effective site installation.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely, following all health and safety practices.
- Other responsibilities or directives as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

- Shipping/receiving or material handling experience, including reading POs and drawings.
- Forklift and overhead crane certifications are strongly preferred.
- Plumbing industry experience and/or knowledge is an asset.
- Understanding of Lean principles is an asset.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Proficient technological skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,



etc.).
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
