Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Kroll pharmacy software, accurate prescription processing, and insurance billing. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy community pharmacy are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Process prescriptions accurately using Kroll pharmacy software.
- Handle prescription billing, insurance claims, and third-party insurance adjudication.
- Verify prescription information and ensure accurate data entry.
- Prepare medications for blister packaging and compliance packaging.
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service to patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy procedures.

Qualifications





- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technical Assistant in a community pharmacy.
- Kroll pharmacy software experience is required.
- Strong experience in accurate prescription processing and data entry is required.
- Experience with prescription insurance billing and third-party claims is required.
- Blister packaging experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.

Compensation

- $17.60–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Full-time/ Part time
