Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HCA (Home Care Assistant) who is fluent in Punjabi to provide exceptional care to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the health, safety, and well-being of seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive respectful and personalized care. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health status
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Document care provided and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals




- Follow care plans accurately while respecting client preferences and cultural considerations

Requirements

- Fluent in Punjabi with excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms
- Prior experience in assisted living, home care, nursing home, senior care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, medication administration, meal preparation, and caregiving best practices is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and patience
- Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory
- Must pass background checks and adhere to all safety guidelines

Pay: $23.00 per hour
