Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Edmonton, AB and surrounding Alberta service areas

About the Role

Provincial Refrigeration is looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Commercial HVAC/R Apprentice to join our service team.

This is a broad commercial HVAC/R position supporting a varied customer base across Edmonton and surrounding Alberta service areas. The successful candidate will develop refrigeration and HVAC skills while gaining exposure to commercial building systems, refrigeration equipment, hydronics, controls and related services.

We are looking for an apprentice who wants to become an exceptional commercial service technician and is willing to invest in developing the technical, troubleshooting and customer-service skills needed to get there.

The successful candidate should be interested in both commercial HVAC and refrigeration work but does not need experience with every type of equipment we service.

As your skills, reliability and independence develop, you will be given increasing responsibility in the field. Apprentices who demonstrate strong performance, reliability and readiness may be considered for a company service vehicle early in their apprenticeship as their responsibilities and independence increase. This could occur shortly after hiring or following probation, depending on demonstrated ability and readiness.
