SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Something different is happening at City Centre Park! ...and we are looking for people who want to be part of the change.

City Centre Park is looking for a dependable, hands-on Senior Maintenance Technician with a proactive mindset and a passion for service. In this vital role, you'll go beyond routine upkeep - ensuring our facilities, including the ice rink and surrounding amenities, are safe, clean, and fully operational. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming, well-maintained environment where guests can enjoy memorable experiences every day.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the City Centre Park complex. The role is diverse and hands-on, with responsibilities that include routine and preventative maintenance, building (carpentry, etc.), equipment inspections, repairs, custodial duties, bowling mechanics, ice operations, and supporting the overall readiness of our facilities for guests and staff.

This position will also be trained to operate the ice resurfacing machine (Zamboni), as this will be a routine part of the role.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of building systems, general maintenance and repair practices, and a practical, problem-solving approach. You take pride in your work, notice the details, and are comfortable working independently while also being part of a collaborative team.

Flexibility is essential. City Centre Park is a busy, multi-use facility, and the Maintenance Technician will work across departments to respond to operational needs, assist with special events, address unexpected maintenance issues, assist with gaps in staffing coverage, and help ensure the park is ready for our guests each day. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in knowing that their work directly impacts the customer experience.

If you’re dependable, safety-minded, customer-focused, mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools, and excited to be part of a team that is helping shape the future of City Centre Park, we’d love to hear from you.
