Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman B Pressure Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on pressure vessels, piping systems, and ductwork, ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality standards. Your expertise in various welding techniques and mechanical systems will contribute to the successful completion of complex projects. Responsibilities

- Execute welding tasks using Stick, MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and plasma cutting techniques to fabricate and repair pressure-related components.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and welding.
- Perform rigging, assembly, and installation of pressure vessels, piping, and related equipment utilizing hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts.
- Conduct machining operations with calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to achieve exact specifications.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, perform adjustments, and ensure proper alignment of components during fabrication.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to follow safety protocols, maintain quality standards, and document work progress accurately.




- Assist with schematics interpretation for complex assemblies while adhering to construction safety guidelines.

Experience

- Proven journey-level experience as a pressure welder with a valid Journeyman/Woman B certification or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of welding techniques including Stick, MIG, TIG, plasma cutting, and their appropriate applications in manufacturing or construction settings.
- Hands-on experience with rigging operations, crane handling, machining tools such as calipers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading for fabrication of pressure vessels and piping in industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing or construction industries involving welding, cutting, plasma table and assembly is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently while maintaining safety standards on-site.

Pay: $46.00-$60.00 per hour
