Joyride Automotive is an independent automotive service and repair shop that has been proudly serving customers since 2014, with our Varsity location operating since 2017.

We are growing and looking for an experienced, efficient, high-producing Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team immediately. Ideally, you have experience working in a high-volume shop, and have the diagnostic expertise to confidently work across multiple vehicle makes and platforms.

What We're Looking For

We need a highly skilled technician who can hit the ground running. You should be efficient without cutting corners, confident in your diagnostic abilities, and capable of producing quality work at a high volume.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience across multiple manufacturers and vehicle platforms, robust troubleshooting skills, and the ability to identify the root cause of a problem rather than simply replacing parts and hoping for the best.

Flat-rate experience is a strong asset.

Required Qualifications

- Red Seal certification as an Automotive Service Technician is mandatory. Applicants without Red Seal certification will not be considered.
- Minimum of five years of professional automotive technician experience,



with preference given to candidates with five or more years of hands-on experience.
- Proven experience in a high-volume automotive repair environment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to accurately pinpoint root causes.
- Experience working across multiple manufacturers, makes, models, and vehicle platforms.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Flat-rate experience is an asset.
- An out-of-province driver's licence or experience with out-of-province vehicle inspections is an asset.
