Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovation Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and commercial renovation projects, with proficiency in various carpentry techniques and construction skills. This role involves transforming spaces through precise craftsmanship, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. The Renovation Carpenter will collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of renovation projects that meet safety standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute renovation plans.
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, cabinet mounting, flooring installation, tile laying, painting, demolition
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct restoration work such as painting, caulking, and finishing to enhance the aesthetic appeal of renovated spaces.
- Measure materials accurately and estimate project needs; assist with construction
- Handle heavy lifting and perform demolition or removal of existing structures or materials.




- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to ensure safety compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or general construction; prior renovation experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools,
- Knowledge of drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, masonry techniques, roofing systems, and concrete forming.
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus; handyman experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on ladders or scaffolding at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of renovation work.
- Physical stamina for long hours on-site in various weather conditions; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
