The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Mobile App Developer with hands-on experience in building Android and iOS applications, preferably Native. You’ll join us at a pivotal time, contributing directly to the core mobile product from the ground up. Whether it’s native development or cross-platform, we value clean, well-structured code, ownership, and thoughtful execution.

This is a full-time, on-site position in our Vancouver office, ideal for a candidate ready to take charge of mobile development in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, test, and maintain a new mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms from as per design & tech team requirements.
- Use Native development tools (Kotlin/Swift) to ensure platform-specific performance and behavior.
- Collaborate closely with our in-house backend/API team (Node.js) to ensure seamless integration.
- Manage full release cycles on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
- Optimize for performance, usability, and security, keeping up with modern design and technical standards.
- Stay prepared to work on features involving device-level integrations (Bluetooth, NFC, biometric auth) and third-party services (payments, location, notifications).
- Write and maintain technical documentation and contribute to team-level discussions on architecture and improvements.

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of proven experience in Android and iOS mobile app development.
- Strong knowledge of Native stacks (Android & iOS).
- Experience integrating APIs, handling offline storage, location services, and building responsive app.
- Familiarity with mobile release processes, app store guidelines, and deployment cycles.
- Bonus: Experience with BLE, NFC, biometric security, or healthcare data privacy is welcome.
- A proactive problem solver with a passion for building high-quality apps from the ground up.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Must be currently based in Vancouver or able to commute daily to our downtown office.
- Available to start immediately (we’re actively hiring), but only if you’re the right fit.
