About us

Queen City Communications is a Regina business that helps farms and rural properties stay connected and keep an eye on things. We sell and install wireless point-to-point links, calving camera systems, cellular boosters, Wi-Fi and solar cellular cameras, Starlink, yard Wi-Fi and monitored alarms. We also rent Sentinel solar surveillance trailers.

The opportunity

We'll have a booth at Canadian Western Agribition, November 23–28, 2026. We're looking for one sales rep to work the booth with us and then keep going as our ongoing rep, following up leads from the show, our website and Facebook, and from future ag shows.

This is a commission-only, independent contractor position. You get paid per sale. There is no hourly wage or salary. Commission is paid after the customer's payment clears. We'll go over the full commission schedule with you in the interview.

What you'll do

- Talk with farmers and ranchers at the booth about their camera, connectivity and cell-signal problems

- Ask the right questions (distance, line of sight, cell signal, power) to work out what fits

- Write up quotes and orders using QCC pricing, and collect contact info for follow-up

- Explain install services and financing options

- Follow up leads after the show by phone, text and email, and visit farms when needed

- Work future ag shows and events as they come up

Who fits

- Ag background is a big plus: you grew up on a farm, work in ag,

or know your way around a yard and a calving barn

- You're comfortable talking cattle, calving season and rural internet/cell problems with producers

- You're honest and don't push. You'd rather sell the right thing than the most expensive thing.

- Some interest in tech helps. We'll train you on the products.

- You have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence

- You must be available for the Agribition show dates, November 23–28, 2026, plus a few training sessions in Regina beforehand

- Comfortable working as a self-employed contractor (you handle your own taxes)

What we offer

- Commission on every sale you close, plus flat bonuses for installs you book

- Product training and booth materials

- A real product line that solves problems farmers already have

- A flexible schedule and an ongoing role after the show for the right person

How to apply

Apply through Indeed, or email [email protected] with the subject line "Agribition Sales Rep." Include a short note about your ag and/or sales background and your availability for November 23–28. We review applications as they come in and want to have someone in place by early November.

Pay: $500.00-$3,000.00 per month

Benefits:

- Versatile schedule
- Mileage reimbursement
- Store discount

Work Location: On the road
