Overview

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator who is willing to learn about our diverse range of equipment. This position requires punctual attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, follows detailed plans carefully, and produces quality products that meet our standards and our customers’ expectations. We welcome experienced welders and people with a strong work ethic who want to build their knowledge of the trade.

Duties

- Mig welding, primarily mild steel pump frames and accessories
- TIG welding 304/316 stainless steel tanks and components
- Fabricate custom equipment based on blueprints supplied
- Organize welding station and manage steel inventory and supplies
- Use of Iron Worker and Steel Band saw
- Use of all welding equipment, i.e. grinders, chops saws etc…
- Use of oxy-acetylene and plasma torch

Qualifications

- Welding ticket is an asset,



but not required – we are willing to train the right candidate
- Familiarity with Mig welding and TIG welding
- Ability to read and understand detailed plans, drawings, or instructions
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks (lifting, standing, bending, kneeling)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
