Janitor/Cleaner – Part-TimeJob Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments at two store locations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure both locations meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Schedule & Locations

- 3 days per week
- Cleaning is required at two store locations
- 1 store in Trenton, Ontario
- 1 store in Campbellford, Ontario
- The position requires travelling between the two locations as scheduled.
- Cleaning duties will be completed on a regular basis to keep both stores consistently clean and presentable.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by disinfecting surfaces, replenishing supplies, and ensuring proper sanitation standards are met.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, fixtures, and furniture to maintain a polished appearance.
- Clean and maintain floors and other high-traffic areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of the stores to identify cleaning needs and address them promptly.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively when required.




- Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed.

Experience

- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between the Trenton and Campbellford locations is an asset.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
