Position Summary

The City of Fort Saskatchewan’s Recreation Department is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to serve our patrons at Harbour Pool. Reporting to the Clerk III - Aquatics, the Customer Service Representative will receive admission fees, welcome clients, and answer inquiries from the public (both in person and by telephone). Also, handling registrations, facility bookings correspondence and filing, and supporting Instructor/Guards when they require assistance either on or off deck.

Responsibilities

- include, but are not limited to:

- Cashier - Receive admission fees, balance cash, and prepare deposits and sales of retail products.

- Registrations - Register patrons for swim lessons, membership passes and courses.

- Facility Bookings - Book rental packages for the Pool and Multi-Purpose Room for patrons and provide information on party packages.

- Receptionist - Welcome patrons, answer phones, handle inquiries, and provide information on programs and other services offered.

- Janitorial - Maintain facilities appearance; ensure cleanliness in main lobby and front desk area.

- First Aid - Respond to all minor and major first aid situations.

Varying day, evening and weekend shifts. Preference will be given to those who have open availability.
