If youre passionate about patient care enjoy building relationships with clients and want to work alongside a team that values teamwork and professional development wed love to hear from you!In this role youll have the opportunity to use your technical skills contribute to a positive patient experience and support our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical and surgical Youll DoProvide compassionate high-quality nursing care to patients throughout their veterinarians with examinations diagnostics treatments and surgical patients under anesthesia and provide appropriate perioperative RVT duties within your scope of practice including patient assessments sample collection laboratory diagnostics and medical preventative healthcare including vaccinations wellness visits and client with pet owners about their pets care treatment plans and at-home create a calm welcoming experience for pets and their accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols for patient safety and infection collaboratively with veterinarians veterinary assistants and the broader hospital to a supportive learning setting and the continued development of the Were Looking ForA diploma in Veterinary Technology from an accredited or eligibility for registration as a Registered Veterinary Technologist in Manitoba.A passion for animal health patient advocacy and compassionate communication and client service skills.A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a organizational skills and attention to detail.A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing your graduates are encouraged to apply!Our HospitalFort Garry Veterinary Hospital offers a range of veterinary services to support pets throughout their lives.
