We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Morning Baker to join our bakery team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, food preparation, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Morning Baker will be responsible for preparing baked goods, decorating cakes, and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant kitchen environment, contributing to the creation of delicious treats for our customers each morning.

Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, and cakes according to established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all baked items are cooked properly and meet quality standards before packaging or display
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
- Package baked goods securely for sale or delivery while maintaining presentation quality




- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
- Provide friendly customer service when interacting with customers or answering questions about products

Qualifications

- Previous experience in baking, cake decorating, or food preparation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Strong skills in baking, cooking, and food presentation
- Ability to work early mornings consistently and efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment safely
- Passion for creating high-quality baked goods with a focus on customer satisfaction

Pay: $18.95-$20.00 per hour
