Hoemsen Insurance Inc. - Co-operators is looking for an experienced financial services professional to take ownership of the Life & Wealth side of our business.

This is not a cold-start advisor position where you're expected to build a book from nothing. We have a large, established client base and are looking for someone who can proactively develop those relationships, identify opportunities, provide sound advice and build a strong Life & Wealth practice within our agency.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable sitting across the table from clients, asking good questions, providing advice and, importantly, asking for the business. You need to be self motivated and capable of taking ownership of the role rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you.

A CFP designation would be an asset, but it is not required. We're more interested in finding someone with the knowledge, judgement communication skills and drive to be successful.

What you'll do:

- Build relationships with clients from an established agency book
- Conduct financial needs and investment conversations
- Develop and present life insurance and wealth recommendations
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities within the existing client base
- Manage follow-up and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Develop referral relationships and generate new opportunities
- Take ownership of Life and Wealth production and results





What we're looking for:

- Experience in financial services, investments, insurance or financial planning
- Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with proactive sales and business development
- Strong understanding of investments and financial planning concepts
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- CFP, QAFP, life insurance licensing, mutual fund licensing are all an asset, but not mandatory for the right candidate

Compensation

Base salary of approximately $70,000, plus performance-based compensation. A successful candidate achieving expected production levels can reasonably earn $120,000 in their first year, with additional upside for higher production.
