Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Kitchen Assistant to support our Kitchen team in delivering high-quality food service. This vital role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, experience in restaurant or kitchen environments, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and efficiency.

Duties

- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking tasks
- Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations

Experience





- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a kitchen environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic culinary environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
