Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Supervisor to support our restaurant operations. This role involves assisting with daily food service activities, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, restaurant management, and team leadership within the food industry or hospitality sector. Responsibilities

- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts
- Support food preparation and cooking to meet quality standards
- Supervise and motivate team members, including interviewing and training new staff
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Oversee restaurant cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health standards
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling waste
- Support bartending activities if required,



including serving drinks responsibly
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and operational improvements

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling proficiency is essential
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, safety regulations, and kitchen operations
- Experience with bartending or barista duties is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset for effective collaboration

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
