We are a small independent community pharmacy looking for a full-time pharmacist who wants to practice without corporate quotas or chronic understaffing. Secure schedule, strong assistant support (minimum two assistants on shift), and manageable prescription volume.

Hours are 10:00AM to 5:00PM on Mondays to Fridays and 10:00AM to 2:00PM on Saturdays. No evenings or Sundays.

Responsibilities:

- Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contra-indications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage
- Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
- Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
- Compound and dispense prescribed medications
- Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications




- Provide patients with pertinent drug information
- Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
- Supervise and maintain records of all medications
- Other duties as per pharmacy owner

Qualifications:

- Registered with the BC College of Pharmacists and in Good Standing
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience working in a retail pharmacy
- Injection Certified
- Preferred: Proficient in WinRX
- Preferred: Certification in Opioid Use Disorder Maintenance

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour

Experience:

- Pharmacist: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Pharmacist License (required)
- Injection Certification (preferred)
- OAT Certification (preferred)
