Position Overview

We are currently hiring for the following role(s):

- In-Home Tutors : Grade 4 - Math & Reading (Parry Sound, ON)

Compensation :From$30 per hour

This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys individualized instruction, differentiated teaching, and building strong relationships with learners and families .

Key Responsibilities

As a Teacher-Tutor at Goode Learning, you will:

- Deliver one-on-one instruction in-person tailored to each student’s learning profile
- Use assessment-informed strategies to plan lessons and monitor progress
- Adapt teaching to support individual learning needs and strengths
- Communicate student progress with the internal team
- Build trusting relationships with families, helping them understand and support their child’s learning journey

Qualifications

- 1-2+ years of classroom teaching experience :

- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and current educational pedagogy :

- Experience working with diverse learners and varying learning profiles :

- Comfort using educational technology tools (e.g., Google Classroom, digital learning platforms)





- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- A growth mindset, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting student success
