Overview

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation of surfaces.
- Handle heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring all facilities are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.

Skills





- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
