Overview

We are seeking a dependable Fence Installer to build, repair, and maintain residential and commercial fencing. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, comfortable working outdoors, and able to use hand and power tools. Construction experience is preferred. Training and opportunities to apply related trade skills may be available.

Duties

- Measure and prepare job sites, review plans, and install fence posts, panels, gates, and hardware.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other project instructions.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely; operate heavy equipment when qualified and authorized.
- Excavate post holes, set posts, and complete concrete forming, pouring, and finishing as needed.
- Check alignment, spacing, stability, and finish quality throughout each installation.
- Repair existing fences and assist with restoration work.
- Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas orderly, and follow job-site safety procedures.




- Coordinate with crew members and communicate progress or site concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications

- Construction experience is required; fence installation experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, measuring, and basic layout is helpful.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and follow instructions.
- Concrete forming or concrete finishing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, perform physical tasks, and lift and carry job materials as required.
- Reliable, punctual, attentive to detail, and committed to protected, quality workmanship.

Pay: $18.77-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 60.0 per week
