We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our client in the Retail Industry. This role is responsible for troubleshooting application issues, monitoring data synchronization processes, and assisting with API Troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with application support, API testing tools, and technical troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity with robust potential for extension. The position is primarily remote , with occasional travel as required to their Toronto location.

Responsibilities

- Provide application support for retailers and business users, resolving technical and system-related issues.
- Investigate and troubleshoot data synchronization failures, integration issues, and application errors.
- Support and monitor API integrations between internal and external systems.
- Utilize Postman to test, validate, and troubleshoot APIs.
- Analyze application logs and system events to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Work closely with technical, product, and support teams to resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Document issues, resolutions, and support processes.
- Track incidents, service requests, and enhancements using Jira .




- Escalate complex technical issues to development or infrastructure teams when required.
- Assist with application monitoring, system maintenance, and ongoing support activities.

Required Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience in an Application Support, Technical Support, or related role.
- Experience troubleshooting application, system, or integration-related issues.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation. (nice to have)
- Understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
- Experience reading and interpreting application or system logs.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing/issue tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer support abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and troubleshooting data issues.
- Exposure to integration support and data synchronization processes.
- Experience supporting external customers, retailers, or business users.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications and SaaS environments.
