We are seeking a dynamic and personable Art Consultant to join our team. This role involves guiding customers through their art selections, providing product demonstrations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail or technical sales are highly valued.

The Art

Consultant will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales within our gallery or retail environment.

Duties

- Assist customers in selecting artwork that aligns with their preferences and needs
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase artwork features and benefits
- Provide expert advice on art styles, framing options, and display techniques
- Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments
- Upsell complementary products such as frames, accessories, or custom services to increase sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Ensure a welcoming environment through excellent phone etiquette and customer interactions
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage appointments, follow-ups,



and client records efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve overall store performance

Qualifications

- Multilingual or bilingual skills (especially English) are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales, product demos, or technical sales is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating totals accurately
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and merchandising techniques
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly phone etiquette approach
- Experience in upselling products and providing personalized recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
