The Associate Director of Legal Affairs is a trusted advisor to the business and deputy to the Director of Legal Affairs, providing legal and strategic advice on all areas of law impacting the company across Canada. As an integral member of the Linde Legal team, the Associate Director partners with business leaders to enable growth,



manage risk and support the achievement of strategic objectives across the company. You will provide legal counsel on a broad range of complex and routine corporate, commercial, regulatory and operational legal matters, negotiate high-value agreements, mitigate risk, support strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance across the business.

The role also supports environmental, health, safety and quality matters, to proactively manage risk and maintain compliance. Candidates should possess 8 to 12 years of relevant legal experience gained in-house and/or at a leading law firm, with broad exposure to commercial, operational and regulatory matters.

Experience supporting environmental, regulatory, health and safety, or compliance functions will be considered an asset.
