NAPA Calgary Douglasdale

Calgary

A FEW WORDS BEFORE THE DETAILS A parts department is not a warehouse with a counter. It is the reason a technician can finish a job on time, a farmer can get back into the field, and a customer can trust that the right part will be there when they need it. We are looking for a Parts Manager who understands that the counter is the front line and the inventory is the backbone.

WHO WE ARE

NAPA Calgary Douglasdale is part of the largest Canadian distribution network of vehicle replacement parts. Our store on Douglasdale serves drivers, technicians, farmers, and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the community with high-quality products, expert advice, and dependable service. We carry an extensive inventory of hard parts and maintenance essentials, and we take pride in helping customers find the right parts the first time.

We are open weekends for added convenience, and we offer same-day pickup on many in-stock items.

WHY THIS ROLE IS OPEN

Our store is growing, and we need a Parts Manager to take ownership of the department. You will lead a team of parts specialists, manage inventory and procurement, and ensure that our counter delivers the kind of service that keeps customers coming back. This is a hybrid position, blending on-site leadership with remote administrative work.

- Develop procurement strategies and negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Monitor market trends and anticipate demand for parts and accessories
- Process invoices, paperwork, and administrative tasks accurately

- Monitor departmental profitability, gross margin, and expense control
- Prepare reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and department performance
- Support budgeting and forecasting for the parts department

Practical Requirements

- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with on-site presence at the Douglasdale location and remote administrative work
- Reliable high-speed internet for work from home days
- Ability to lift items as needed and stand for extended periods

WHAT THE ROLE PROVIDES

- Hybrid work model balancing in office leadership with remote administration
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Health and dental benefits as applicable
- Employee discounts on parts and accessories
- A supportive team workplace within the NAPA network
- Opportunities for growth and development
