MaplXpress is looking for a reliable, hands-on technician/mechanic to work in our fully equipped automotive workshop. Candidates with at least one year of relevant experience are welcome to apply. Newcomers to Canada are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Perform vehicle inspections, basic repairs, maintenance, tire changes and balancing within your skills and qualifications.
- Work independently, organize daily jobs and complete work safely and on time.
- Speak with customers, explain service requirements and provide estimates.
- Negotiate service pricing within company guidelines and obtain customer approval before starting work.
- Keep tools, equipment and the workshop clean and organized.
- Identify additional service needs and maintain good customer relationships.

Requirements

- At least one year of hands-on automotive technician or mechanic experience.
- Ability to manage assigned work independently with minimal supervision.




- Good communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible, with attention to workmanship.
- Dashcam installation, automotive electrical work, detailing or window tinting experience is an asset.
