We are seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Banquet Chef to join our team at our busy banquet hall. We specialize in hosting weddings, corporate functions, social celebrations, and large-scale events, serving anywhere from intimate gatherings to events of up to 800 guests.

We are looking for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional food, and has the leadership and organizational skills to execute high-quality menus for a wide variety of events.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare and execute menus for weddings, corporate events, galas, and other special occasions.

● Prepare a variety of cuisines to accommodate diverse guest preferences and event requirements.

● Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation for events of up to 800 guests.

● Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.

● Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

● Work closely with management and event teams to ensure smooth and successful event execution.





● Lead, motivate, and support kitchen staff in a qualified team environment.

Qualifications

● Banquet or large-volume catering experience is a strong asset

● Knowledge of multiple cuisines and the ability to adapt menus to different events.

● Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.

● Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

● Food Handler Certification required or willingness to obtain it.

● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Wages will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, culinary expertise, leadership abilities, and demonstrated skills in banquet and high-volume food production.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
