Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage preparation, and experience working in the food industry. Prior barista experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using standard recipes and equipment such as Micros POS systems.
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process customer orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, including food preparation areas and equipment sanitation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.




- Restock supplies as needed and assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Positive time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Previous experience in serving or cashiering roles is beneficial but not required.
