Health Station Naturopathic Clinic is expanding its women's health services and is looking for a compassionate, professional Birth & Postpartum Doula to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

This is an opportunity for a doula who wants to build or expand their practice within a skilled healthcare environment and become part of Health Station's developing women's health and family wellness services.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth preparation, and the postpartum transition while maintaining the appropriate non-clinical scope of doula practice.

ABOUT HEALTH STATION

Health Station Naturopathic Clinic is a modern, patient-centred healthcare clinic located in South London, Ontario.

Our practice currently provides naturopathic medicine and is expanding toward a broader multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Women's health is an important part of our developing clinical focus, and we are interested in building a supportive network of professionals who can provide complementary services to patients and families.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Birth & Postpartum Doula who is motivated to establish or expand their practice within Health Station.

The successful practitioner will have the opportunity to:

- Build and develop their own client base
- Offer prenatal, birth-preparation, and postpartum support
- Provide services from a professional healthcare environment
- Benefit from potential internal referrals where appropriate
- Participate in women's health education and community outreach
- Collaborate appropriately with other healthcare professionals
- Help shape the development of Health Station's women's health services
- Build a long-term qualified relationship with the clinic

FLEXIBLE PRACTICE ARRANGEMENT We are open to discussing the arrangement that best fits the practitioner's practice.

INDEPENDENT ROOM RENTAL

Operate your own doula practice from a professional space within Health Station under an agreed rental arrangement.





This may be ideal for an established doula who already has a client base and wants a professional location for consultations, education, and support sessions.

CLINIC-SUPPORTED ARRANGEMENT A mutually agreed revenue-sharing arrangement may also be considered for practitioners who would like to develop their practice with selected Health Station infrastructure and support.

Depending on the arrangement, support may include:

- Professional consultation space
- Jane EMR/booking infrastructure where appropriate
- Reception and administrative support
- Marketing opportunities
- Community outreach opportunities
- Potential internal referrals
- Professional multidisciplinary environment
- Free parking

The specific arrangement will be discussed based on the practitioner's experience, client base, schedule, and desired level of support.

POTENTIAL SERVICES

Depending on the practitioner's training and qualifications, services may include:

- Prenatal education and preparation
- Birth planning and preparation
- Emotional and informational support
- Non-clinical labour support
- Partner support and education
- Postpartum transition support
- Newborn-care education
- Infant-feeding education within the doula's training and scope
- Practical postpartum support
- Community resource navigation
- Virtual education and support

The practitioner's services must remain within their training, qualifications, professional boundaries, and applicable requirements. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate is:

- Experienced or appropriately trained as a birth and/or postpartum doula
- Professional, compassionate, and dependable
- Comfortable supporting diverse families
- An excellent communicator
- Respectful of client autonomy and individual birth choices
- Comfortable working independently
- Interested in building a sustainable practice




- Open to appropriate collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Committed to maintaining clear professional boundaries

Additional training in childbirth education, lactation support, newborn care, perinatal mental health, infant feeding, or other relevant areas is an asset, provided services remain within the practitioner's qualifications and scope. WHY JOIN THE FOUNDING TEAM?
