Sussex Realty is seeking licensed, and flexible Boiler Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers and associated systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Water sampling and testing to ensure adequate boiler performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to boiler operation, including mechanical failures or system malfunctions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in boiler systems, notably steam boilers.
- Experience in maintenance or construction environments with a focus on mechanical or boiler systems.
- Mechanic experience with troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.




- Knowledge of safety standards related to boiler operation and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Plumbing and other maintenance skills is a strong asset for further work within our maintenance team.

However, there is room within the company to work as a plumber or carpenter should you be interested in more work.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
