Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry and transaction recording
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and ledger entries
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with account reconciliation tasks to verify the accuracy of financial data




- Support payroll processing by ensuring correct data entry and compliance with relevant regulations
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents for audit purposes

Experience

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
- Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with budgeting procedures and financial reporting standards
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced setting is preferred but not required
