We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing guests with a warm, welcoming experience by preparing and serving breakfast in a clean and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to food safety and guest satisfaction.
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
- Replenish food stations with fresh items and ensure all supplies are stocked throughout the shift.
- Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and assist with any special dietary requests.
- Handle food safely by following proper handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service areas as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe workplace for guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new team members.
- Skills in customer service, food preparation, serving, cashiering, and food handling are desirable.
- Experience working in hotel or barista environments can be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cleaning procedures is preferred.
