Job Title: Cake Decorator (Part time)

Pay: $18.25– $20.30 per hour

About Us

Jozef's Pastry Boutique is a local pastry shop on West 15th Street in North Vancouver, offering fresh, handmade cakes, pastries, and sweets. We're looking for a creative and skilled Cake Decorator to join our team.

What You'll Do

- Decorate cakes for daily display and custom orders (birthdays, weddings, special events)
- Work with buttercream, whipped cream, fondant, ganache, and glazes
- Pipe borders, flowers, writing, and decorative details
- Fill, layer, level, and crumb-coat cakes
- Follow customer designs and order details accurately
- Keep the decorating station clean and organized, following food safety standards
- Help prepare fillings, frostings, and toppings as needed
- Manage time to complete orders on schedule, especially during busy seasons

What We're Looking For




- 1 year of cake decorating experience in a bakery or pastry shop
- Strong piping skills and a neat, consistent finish
- Creativity and a good eye for colour and design
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player

- Available weekends
- FoodSafe Level 1 (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with fondant and custom/wedding cakes is an asset
