We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware. We're hiring a Mechanical Camera & Sensor Calibration Engineer to own Mecka's entire calibration pipeline: camera intrinsics to IMU alignment to factory calibration infrastructure. You'll work directly with cameras, IMUs, and multi-sensor rigs to ensure our capture systems produce accurate, reliable data at scale.

Your immediate task: deliver production-quality calibration values. From there, you'll take full ownership of calibration pipeline process across Mecka's hardware fleet.

Immediate Priorities

Own the entire calibration pipeline — camera intrinsics/extrinsics, IMU calibration,



multi-sensor alignment Develop automated calibration verification and quality assurance systems Understanding of sensor fusion fundamentals and how calibration quality affects downstream performance Experience building calibration tooling and infrastructure for production environments Ability to speak Mandarin and obtain work allowance in China Experience in a manufacturing or hardware deployment setting with calibration at scale Knowledge of uncertainty quantification and error analysis Comfortable working with physical hardware — not just software A strong debugger who can trace data quality issues back to root causes Own calibration end-to-end at a company building robotics data infrastructure Direct impact on data quality that feeds into ML and perception systems We do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, veteran or military status, or any other protected category.
