Cannabis Store Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cannabis Store Supervisor to lead daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, and uphold compliance with all regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for the cannabis industry.

The Supervisor will play a key role in driving sales, managing store performance, and creating a welcoming environment for customers. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced and expanding industry while maintaining high standards of store management.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Lead, train, and develop staff members in customer service, sales techniques, POS systems, merchandising, and product knowledge
- Manage staffing schedules, recruiting new team members as needed, and conduct performance evaluations
- Oversee inventory management including purchasing, pricing strategies, stock replenishment, and shrink control
- Handle cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote products and increase store traffic
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations related to cannabis sales and store operations
- Monitor sales performance metrics and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain a clean,



organized store environment that aligns with safety standards and branding guidelines
- Address customer inquiries or complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with upper management on budgeting, merchandising plans, promotional events, and store improvements

Skills

- Proven supervisory or retail management experience within the cannabis or related retail industry
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Skilled in negotiation, marketing strategies, pricing tactics, and sales management
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques combined with customer service excellence
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory purchasing procedures
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional demeanor with solid phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
