Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and creating a welcoming environment for all shoppers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for assisting customers.

Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling procedures
- Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to increase sales
- Conduct product demos when applicable, especially for technology or recent merchandise
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Provide information about products, services,



and store policies to customers
- Manage phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth store operations

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus
- Multilingual or bilingual skills (English required) to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 per hour
