We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision and integrity
- Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos when applicable to inform customers about features and benefits
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Support the team with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency (e.g., English plus another language) are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills for handling cash transactions, and merchandising experience are advantageous
- Robust communication skills, time management, organizational abilities, and the capacity to upsell products are essential for success in this role
- Experience with technical sales or product demos is a plus for stores offering specialized items or technology products
Pay: $17.60-$28.32 per hour
