Our dental office located in the heart of the Bloor West Village community is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team! We are a patient-focused dental practice committed to providing quality care in a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive environment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, takes pride in their work, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures and provide chairside support.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and dental instruments in accordance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Take dental X-rays as required and permitted by qualifications.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions and help ensure they feel comfortable during their visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Monitor dental supplies and help keep the clinical area organized.
- Follow all applicable infection control, health and safety, and practice protocols.

Qualifications
- Dental Assisting diploma or equivalent training.




- Level II Dental Assistant certification
- NDAEB required
- Current certification and training in infection prevention and control; HARP certification is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a professional approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy dental practice.
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset, but motivated current graduates are welcome to apply.
